Affiliate Disclosure

The links that can earn us a commission, the rules they follow, and the line we never cross.

  • 1. The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. We only ever recommend tools we have used ourselves, and the commission never changes what we recommend or how we describe it.

  • 2. How affiliate links work

When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, the provider records that the sale came from this site and pays us a small commission. The price you pay is identical — the commission comes out of the provider's marketing budget, not your pocket. We never get a cut of anything you did not buy.

  • 3. Which links are affiliate links

The links on this site that are affiliate links point to services we genuinely build on, primarily Hostinger (web hosting) and Vercel (deployment). If a page contains affiliate links, the disclosure appears on that page or in the footer of every page — including this one.

  • 4. Why we do it

We are a small studio, and affiliate commissions are part of how the site pays for itself. The recommendation comes first; the commission is a consequence of recommending something we already use and trust. If a tool stops being good, it stops being recommended — affiliate income never factors into that decision.

  • 5. What we never do

We never hide an affiliate link. We never recommend something just because it pays a commission. We never use affiliate income to justify a review or a claim. If we are not sure a tool is right for you, we say so — the same way we would about our own work.

  • 6. The legal part

In line with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements, this page and the disclosures beside affiliate links exist to make it clear that we may receive compensation from some links. That disclosure is not a suggestion that you must buy anything — it is simply the honest thing to do.

  • 7. Questions

If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, ask us through the contact form. We answer plainly, and if we do not know the answer we will find it.
