Terms of Service
Plain terms for the work we do. If something here is unclear, ask — we would rather explain than rely on fine print.
1. What these terms cover
These Terms of Service govern the work PrismaFlux Media performs for you — a website, an architecture audit, a web application, or any other engagement we agree to in writing. Every engagement is quoted individually, and the quote, the proposal, and these terms together form the agreement. If anything in a proposal contradicts these terms, the proposal wins.
2. Quotes and pricing
Pricing starts at the published rates — from $2,500 for a business website or an architecture audit, from $6,000 for a web application, and from $8,000 for a greenfield product build. Your final quote depends on scope, and it is fixed once you accept it. We never sell hours; we quote outcomes. If the scope changes after work begins, we agree on the change and its price before doing the work.
3. Payment
Larger engagements are delivered in phases, and each phase is paid as it is completed and demoed — you see working software before you pay for the next step. For smaller engagements we may agree on a single upfront payment. Payment is due on the agreed terms in the proposal; late payment pauses work until it is settled.
4. Ownership
You own 100% of the code and design we deliver, in full, once the work it belongs to is paid for. There is no license, no ongoing fee, and no vendor lock-in. We hand over everything you need to run it yourself — including Docker containers or a handover on the hosting of your choice (Vercel or Hostinger). We keep the right to display the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
5. Third-party tools
We build on the Vercel ecosystem and often recommend tools we genuinely use — including Hostinger and Vercel, where some links are affiliate links. We earn a commission from some of those links at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we have used ourselves. Those tools have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
6. Our obligations
We deliver the scope we agree to, to the quality standards we hold ourselves to: strictly typed TypeScript, documented, and tested. We communicate honestly, and we tell you if an idea you are asking for is not the one you need. We work from Gevgelija, North Macedonia, and we are a small studio — you are working with people who own the outcome, not a call centre.
7. Liability
We build carefully and test what we ship, but to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the engagement in question. We are not liable for indirect losses, for the content you or your users put into a product, or for downtime of third-party services we build on.
8. Terminating an engagement
Either side may end an engagement with written notice. You pay for work completed and delivered up to the end of the notice period, and you keep whatever you have paid for, delivered to that point. There is no penalty for ending an engagement that is not working.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of North Macedonia. In the unlikely event of a dispute, we will first try to resolve it directly and in good faith — that has always worked better than paperwork.
